Mr. Paramjit Singh Gill joined Globus Spirits Limited in November 2020. As the Chief Executive Officer - Consumer Division, he will drive growth for this stream of business.
Mr. Gill is an enterprising leader, bringing a strong track record of over 30 years of progressive experience in planning and executing strategies leading to augmented organizational efficiency and top and bottom line growth in the FMCG industry in India and abroad. While he served as the President & CEO at Allied Blenders & Distillers Ltd. (ABD), he led the most successful launch in the Indian market in recent years with Sterling Reserve, clocking a 7% AI market share in 2 years. Prior to ABD, he was President - All India Operations, at Diageo India.
A Fulbright Fellow from the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Mr. Gill has also successfully rejuvenated declining operations and derived substantial benefits through tactical negotiations, influencing change, optimizing costs and productivity, and managing budgets, HR, and administrative functions effectively.
Mr. Gill holds a Master of Philosophy degree from the Stellenbosch University, along with professional certifications from the Institute of Marketing Management (Johannesburg, SA), Harvard Business School, Carnegie Bosch Institute, and the Tepper School of Business. When he’s not working, Mr. Gill can be found exploring different cuisines and taking short, spur-of-the-moment trips with his family.
Dr. Bhaskar Roy calls himself a simple person who works to keep his team happy. A Chartered Accountant since 1987, he began his career at Asiatic Oxygen Limited. He is an accomplished professional who earned his Ph.D in Commerce from Rohilkhand University while he worked at Dhampur Sugar Mills. As the CFO of Globus Spirits, he successfully led the company’s IPO.
In his current role as Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer, he also handles the Eastern units in West Bengal and Bihar, along with the value liquor sales in Haryana and West Bengal.
When he’s not working, Dr. Roy spends his time traveling, enjoying food, and listening to the sitar. Dr. Roy has been at Globus Spirits Limited since 2005.

In 1986, Mr. Malik joined Globus in the capacity of a Quality Control superintendent. He has been with the company ever since, having served as the GM at the Globus Spirits plant in Behror. Under his leadership, the plant’s capacity increased from 5,000 cases a day to approximately 40,000 cases a day.
Under his leadership, Globus Spirits has also become the #1 manufacturer of value liquor in Rajasthan. “We’re able to maintain the highest market share because we maintain good quality with our liquor. We treat our value liquor as a valuable product and we keep our factories neat, clean and green.”
Mr. Malik has had a long and successful career driving innovation and quality with a subsequent and steady increase in company profits. He is currently responsible for all operations in North India.
As the Senior Vice President of Engineering for Globus Spirits and Head of Operations for Bihar, Mr. Amitabh Singh leads the engineering requirements of all four Globus plants. He is `an Engineering Graduate from the DEI Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh (Agra), Certified Energy Auditor (Bureau of Energy Efficiency) and Boiler Operation Engineer from the Director of Boilers (Uttar Pradesh).
With well over 25 years of experience across the power, chemical, and alcohol industries, Mr. Singh is also actively involved in process mapping and ERP implementation for various company functions. His leadership has contributed to growing Globus Spirits Limited from a 500 Cr. company to a 1500 Cr. company.
Mr. Singh is an exuberant singer and enjoys playing cricket and lawn tennis in his spare time.
Nilanjan Sarakar brings a rich experience of over 25 years in Internal Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Regional Finance, Commercial and Supply Finance, SOX, and other IFC controls through diverse industries and having worked in different parts of the country.
Within the spirits industry, Mr. Sarkar brings over 18 years of experience to the table, having worked in the Corporate Internal Audit Department, Bangalore with the UB Group and has executed audits of all Group companies, i.e. United Spirits Limited, United Breweries Limited, Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (P) Limited, and UB Engineering.
After his stint in internal audit, Nilanjan worked with United Spirits Limited in the East where he was appointed Planning & Control Head-East, managing the P&L of the entire East region. Thereafter, he was transferred to North as the Regional Finance Head of North at Diageo India. During his tenure in the North, Nilanjan was instrumental in securing maximum scores for SOX compliance, besides implementing systems and procedures.
Mr. Sarkar joins us from Allied Blenders & Distillers (P) Ltd where he was the Financial Controller and where he demonstrated abilities in harmonising systems, process and resources for all financial and statutory matters and streamlining internal controls.
He loves travelling and watching movies and believes the keys to success are teamwork and team development.
Mr. Jasbir Singh is the Senior Vice President of Export & Spirit Sales at Globus Spirits Limited, bringing well over 30 years of experience in the sugar and alcohol industry, where he has carved a niche for himself working in exports of bulk alcohol. Mr. Singh graduated with a science degree from the University of Burdwan in West Bengal and with his MBA from IIPM in Delhi.
He began his career working with Modi Xerox and has been with Globus Spirits Limited since 1995. Mr. Singh is an avid hockey enthusiast and was once selected to play at the Hockey Junior World Cup. These days, he can be found working and sharing his spare time with family and friends.
Mr. Santosh Kumar Pattanayak, is B.Com, LLB, ACS, and Diploma in Computer Software from APTECH. He has about 18 years of experience in the areas of secretarial, Legal and handling of various statutory corporate laws and agencies. He started his career with Phoenix Overseas Ltd. as management Trainee in its secretarial and legal department, and then moved to Magnum Strips and Tubes Pvt. Ltd. as Company Secretary prior to joining Globus Spirits Ltd. He is currently responsible for secretarial and legal matters, due diligences, corporate governance, compliance, handling of various Govt. bodies and local authorities and facilitating finance and accounts department in getting credit facilities and finalizing accounts etc.

After working at Radhakrishna Hospitality Service and then with Big FM, Mrs. Nair joined Globus Spirits Limited in 2011. She has been heading the HR function since 2015 and now leads a team of 15 people in the company. She is a persuasive and result oriented professional having more than 2 decades of cross functional experience. She graduated with her MBA in Personnel Management from the National Institute of Personnel Management in Calcutta.
She loves experimenting with different cuisines and enjoys spending time with kids and the elderly. Mrs. Nair is looking forward to a post-retirement life when she will have an unfettered opportunity to serve at an orphanage.
