At Globus Spirits Ltd., paying our privilege forward and paving the way for stronger communities has always been a core value. To this end, we have initiated a number of efforts to address the needs of multiple segments in India’s rural, urban and agricultural communities.

GSL Gram Vikas

GSL Gram Vikas is an initiative undertaken by Globus Spirits Ltd. in order to strengthen local, rural economies. Under this initiative, villages neighbouring our factories or production plants are adopted by the company so we can oversee and strengthen their infrastructural needs via access to steady water and electricity supply, well-constructed roads, tree plantation drives and more.

Foundation (IPSF)

The IPS Foundation is a not-for-profit entity incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act. IPSF comprises promising, young, environmentally conscious individuals who come from varying business fields and have a shared vision of shouldering the responsibility as individuals and as an entity to protect and support all endeavours that are environmentally progressive.

IPSF works to affect positive change towards the environment by connecting the dots between all concerned stakeholders by building awareness and buy-ins against stubble burning with farmers. The organisation also introduces and promotes the use of technological interventions; they stand as partners for farmers by bridging the gap towards awareness of available technologies; they also act as facilitators to ensure the seamless transfer of knowledge and awareness on all government schemes and subsidies for farmers.

GRAS Academy

The GRAS Academy is an initiative of graduates from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, with a desire to bring about a social change by empowering the unemployed and out-of-work youth by training them on vocational skills.

The GRAS Academy was launched in 2007 and, over the years, has successfully delivered in the vocational skills space leading to employment for hundreds. GRAS’ core goal has evolved over these years to work with the small-town youth who may have completed basic education, but have limited or no skills to make them employable. By reinforcing self-sufficiency through rigorous training, the GRAS Academy is able to help youth in these areas find gainful employment by bridging the skills gap across industries.

InShakti

InShakti is an end-to-end solution provider for aspiring women entrepreneurs as well as for women who have existing businesses. InShakti works across multiple demographics through a wide variety of programmes and training sessions conducted online and offline to deliver customised solutions for women seeking to establish financial independence.

The organisation works to actualise three of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, i.e., gender equality, decent work, and economic growth.
